(Doc) Huston, 87, Houston Street, Somerset, died July 13, 1989, in the Somerset Hospital. Born Aug. 9, 1901, in Somerset, son of Chambers H. and Eliza (Penrod) Huston. Preceded by parents and the following brothers and sisters: John, Carrie, George, Robert, Laura, Martha, Roy and Grinnell. Survived by wife, Alma (Holland) Huston; one sister, Miss Clara Huston, Somerset; one step-grandson, Larry McGary, Bradenton, Fla.; and several nephews. Member of First Christian Church, Somerset. Retired from PennDot and Pa. Turnpike Commission. Veteran of World War II and member of the American Legion, Samuel Crouse Post 181, Somerset. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William Sleasman officiating.
