  Peter H. Jock, 90, of Patriot Manor, Somerset, formerly of Hooversville,
  died March 3, 2003, at Patriot Manor.  Born in Boynton, he is the son of
  John and Alice (Zubal) Jock.  Preceded in death by parents; first wife,
  Lena (Gagleard) Jock; second wife, Anna (Vidschak) Jock; great-grandson,
  Jeffrey Shaffer; brothers, Charles and John and sister, Mary Chapinka and
  Fannie Bidner.  Survived by children:  Mary Alice, wife of Gerald Shaffer,
  Kennesaw, Ga., Richard, married to the former Durelles Meyers, Stoystown:
  Raymond, married to the former Nancy Shaffer, Middletown; James, married to
  the former Faye Replogle, Johnstown; grandchildren: Jeryl Sue Smith, Mark
  and Kevin Shaffer, Debra Koch, Richard Jr. Raymond, and Jennifer Childs;
  four great-granchildren; brothers, andy and James, Stoystown, George,
  Somerset, Harry, Levittown and sisters Nancy Swedler, Central City, and
  Evelyn Bosnyak, Cleveland, Ohio.  Also survived by a number of nieces and
  nephews.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville.  He was
  a retired miner for the former Baker-Whiteley and Island Creek Coal
  Companies and had worked at Daniel Shaffer's and Sons, Hooversville. 
  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednedsday at the
  Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville, where a service will be held 10:30 a.m
  Thursday with Rev. Gerald L. Myers officiating.  Interment, P.O.S. of A.
  Cemetery, Hooversville.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Trinity
  Lutheran Church, Church St., Hooversville, Pa. 15963.
