  KANTNER
  
  Miss Dorothy Kantner, 71, of Somerset RD 1, died July 4, 1977, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  She was born Aug. 29, 1905, in Somerset, a daughter of
  the late William H. Kantner and Lila B. Hetzel.  She was a former art editor
  and journalist with the Sun Telegraph, Pittsburgh; a member of the Somerset
  County Art Association and Laurel Arts Inc.; Somerset Historical Society,
  Pennsylvania Conservancy, and she was a director of the Humane Society of
  Somerset County.  Memorial services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m.
  Thursday at the Hetzel Studio with the Rev. Richard Shellenberger
  officiating.  Interment, Homewood Cemetery, Pittsburgh, under the direction
  of the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions
  may be made to the Humane Society of Somerset County, Water Works Rd.,
  Somerset.
