Born July 19, 1914, in Kingwood, she is the daughter of Edward B. and Florence A. (Kreger) Hostetler. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Chester Shaw in 1962, and second husband, Howard "Dave" Knopsnyder in 1997. She is also preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers. She was the last living member of her immediate family. She was the beloved aunt of four generations of nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Kingwood Church of God and was an employee of Polk State School from which she retired in 1974 with 25 years of service. During World War II she worked as a riveter at an airplane production factory in Erie. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood where service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Don Judy officiating. Interment at Kingwood I.O.O.F.
