  KOONTZ, Marion Elda (Keyser) 05/03/06 Daily American
  
   Marion Elda (Keyser) Koontz, 91, formerly of Rockwood, died May 2, 2006, at the Patriot
  in Somerset. Born October 25, 1914, in Jenners Township, the daughter of the late James E.
  and Emma Jane (Berkebile) Keyser. She was married March 29, 1942, to Blaine W. Koontz,
  Rockwood, who passed away on April 6, 2006. In addition to her spouse, six brothers and
  two sisters preceded her in death. Survived by two sons, Donald R.Durst, Windber;
  daughter-in- law, Barbara (Anderson) and Blaine E. Koontz, Philipsburg; daughter-in-law,
  Deborah (Miller); five grand-children, James, J.W., Jason, Jerri (Durst) Galluchi, and
  Elaine Koontz; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild. Mrs. Koontz
  was a member of the Rockwood United Methodist Church, past member of the Rockwood Fire
  Department Ladies Auxiliary and a past member of the Somerset County Firemen's Auxiliary.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Robert Halverson
  Funeral Home, Somerset, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev.
  Dr. Mark Ongley officiating. Interment will follow in the Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. The
  family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of American,
  322 Eighth Ave., 6th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
