"Curly" Kozuch, 71, 6th Street, Acosta, died Feb. 15, 1994, at the VA Medical Center, Altoona. Born June 26, 1922, in Jenners, son of John Sr. and Mary (Marcinowski) Kozuch. Preceded in death by parents, and brothers, Joseph and Michael. Survived by his wife, the former Anna Mae Levinicz, and sons, Denny, married to Roberta Dean, and Edward, married to Nancy Urban, both of Somerset. Also four grandchildren: Collette, Steven, Joseph and Lisa. Brother of Mary, Gray; Katie Johnston and Helen, both of Jennerstown; John, Taylor, S.C.; Stella, wife of James Fleegle, Cairnbrook, and Frank, Cleveland, Ohio. Member of St. John's Catholic Church, Acosta. Manager of the former Classic Lanes, Somerset, for many years, and retired from the Somerset State Hospital. World War II Army veteran. Observed 41st wedding anniversary Nov. 25, 1993. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Church, the Rev. Father Raymond Karr officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Daily American, February 17, 1994 [K1130]
