  BETTY LOUISE LAFFERTY
  
    Betty Louise Lafferty, 51, Berlin RD 4, died May 4, 1983, in Memorial
  Hospital, Johnstown.
    She was born Oct. 21, 1931, in Somerset, a daughter of the late John and
  Evelyn (Albright) Whipkey.
    She is survived by these children: Anna M., wife of Brian Swope, Miss
  Brenda L. and Roger E., all of Somerset; three grandchildren; a sister,
  Elsie Bosma, Ravenna, Ohio; and brothers, John Whipkey, Fredonia; and
  Franklin Whipkey, Fredericksburg, Va.
    Friends were received in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where services
  were conducted with the Rev. Dwight Yinkey.  Interment, Beam's Cemetery.
