  Metta G. Lambert, 87, of Shanksville, died April 4, 2003 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born May 28, 1915 in Somerset Twp., the daughter of Leroy
  and Carrie (Keith) Trent.  Preceded in death by her parents; husband,
  Kenneth C. Lambert, sisters Minnie Russo and Orpha Rubright and a
  brother Richard Trent.  She is survived by a daughter Nancy K.
  married to Harold Shaulis, Somerset; son Bobby G. married to the
  former Twilla Shaffer, Shanksville; five grandchildren; 11
  great-grandchildren; a sister Leora Jane Firestone, Ashtabula, Ohio
  and a brother Leroy Jr. married to the former Ruby Schrock,
  Somerset.  She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville,
  Shanksville Fire Dept. Auxiliary and the Shanksville Senior
  Citizens.  She was a graduate of the first class of
  Shanksville-Stonycreek High School - class of 1933, and received
  recognition for voting 50 consecutive years.  Family will receive
  friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown, where a service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday with Rev.
  Robert J. Way officiating.  Interment, Walker Cemetery,
  Shanksville.  Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Mark Lutheran
  Church, Shanksville, Pa. 15560.
