  John "Ozzie" Landis, 76, Berlin, died Aug. 11, 1985, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Nov. 1, 1908, in Berlin, son of Jeremiah P.
  and Lillian (Rubright) Landis.  Preceded in death by parents; son,
  John Jr.; daughter, Janet Marker; infant brother, Irvin; and sisters,
  Lulu Shockey and Ida Ringler.  Survived by daughter, Mrs. Cecil
  (Donna) Pace, Ft. McCoy, Fla.; and son, Robert, Fairhope RD 1; nine
  grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Mrs. Helen
  Marie Leazier, Berlin.  Retired well-known blacksmith in Berlin. 
  Charter member of Berlin Volunteer Fire Department.  Friends will be
  received from 7-9 p.m. Monday (today) at Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral
  Home, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. James
  Roth officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  Berlin
  Volunteer Fire Department will hold memorial service at 8:30 p.m.
  today at funeral home.
