LUCY M. LANDIS

  Mrs. Lucy M. Landis, wife of George W. Landis, deceased, died at her home in 
Akron, Ohio, Sunday, June 9, from heart disease.  At the time of her death she 
was 63 years, 10 months and 9 days of age.  She is survived by five daughters, 
Mrs. Jonas Christner, Tomington; Mrs. Ralph Sufall, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Charles 
Meyers, Connellsville; Mrs. David Miller, Somerset; Mrs. John Marker, Rockwood 
and one son, George W. Landis, of Akron, O.; two sisters, Mrs. Karl Schumacher, 
Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Clayton Hartig, Berkley, Calif.; and two brothers, Peter 
Mankameyer, Rockwood, and Dennis Mankameyer, of Cumberland, Md.  Four grandsons 
also survive.  The body was brought to Meyersdale where services were held at 
two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, June 12, at the W. C. Price funeral home.  Rev. 
Nelson C. Brown officiated. 
  Interment was made in the Reformed Cemetery under the direction of W. C. Price 
& Son, local morticians.
