PETER H. LANDIS

  Peter Homer Landis, 61, well-known store owner at Buckstown, died last 
Thursday morning at his home after an extended illness.  He had been engaged in 
the store business at Buckstown for eight years.  Prior to that he was a 
resident of Central City, where he was engaged in the carpentry trade.
  Peter H. Landis was born in Stonycreek Township, June 12, 1881.  He is 
survived by his wife, Mrs. Katie (Glessner) Landis; a daughter, Helen, wife of 
Jack Spangler, Buckstown, and these brothers and sisters: Sadie, wife of Charles 
Custer; Susan, wife of Harvey Schrock, and Mary, wife of Charles Whipperman, all 
of Somerset; Mrs. Alice Stull, Abraham Landis and Edmund Landis, all of Berlin 
R.D.  Seven brothers and sisters are dead.
