   Betty K. Lannin, 84, Somerset, died Feb. 12, 2006, at Somerset Hospital. Born Aug. 8,
  1921, in Lincoln Township, she is the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Mary Jane
  (Barndt) Racey. Also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Edward U. Lannin, who
  died Jan. 11, 2004; brothers, Charles, Lloyd, Guy, Park, Melvin and Clinton; and sisters,
  Erma Fritz and Ethel Racey. Survived by brothers, Ernest Racey and wife, Zeda,
  Westmoreland City; and nieces and nephews, Shirley Fritz Fry, Lorraine Fritz Dick, Terry
  Fritz, Gail Racey Reither, Barry Racey, James Racey, Alice Racey, Carol Racey Sosinski,
  Donald Bittner, Leroy Jones, Eugene Jones and several great-nieces and nephews. Betty was
  a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, baking, crocheting and reading her Bible. She traveled
  worldwide with her husband during his tour in the U.S. Air Force. Friends received 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, the time of service in the
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. Albert Knaggs and Murhl Howland officiating. Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.
