    Mrs. Gladys M. Lape, 70, 229 Junianta [sic] St., Boswell, died
  March 26, 1976 at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born July 28, 1905 in
  Johnstown, a daughter of Simon L. and Minnie (Lape) Ashbrook. 
  Preceded in death by parents and an infant sister, Dorothy.  Survived
  by husband, Paul C. and a son, Telford J., married to the former Betty
  Wetzel, Baltimore, Md.  Also four grandchildren and two great
  grandchildren.  Was a sister of William of Windber RD 1; Walter M.,
  Arbutus Park; Mark L. and Telford C., both of Akron, Ohio; Paul E. of
  Townsend, Tenn., and Arthur J. of Hooversville.  Was a member of Grace
  Brethren Church in Jenners and Garment Workers Union; retired employee
  of Dorfman-Hoffman garment factory, Boswell.  Celebrated 50th wedding
  anniversary in July, 1974.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Saturday
  and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home,
  227 Allegheny St., Boswell where service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Monday Rev. Richard M. Smith officiating.  Interment, Jenner
  Crossroads Cemetery.  Family requests that flowers be omitted and
  donations to the Grace Brethren Church in Jenners in memory of Mrs.
  Lape be made.
