She was born July 2, 1918 in Lincoln Township, a daughter of the late Elmer H. and Carrie (Gahring) Pyle. Preceded in death by two sisters. Survived by husband, Ray M. Lape, and these children: Ray M., Jr. of Somerset RD 4; Jay M. of Somerset; Evelyn, wife of Ray Swank of Vienna, Ohio; Wilma, wife of Richard Miller of Columbus, Ohio; Dale of Friedens RD 1; and 18 grandchildren. She was a sister of Frank W. and Mrs. Paul Friedline of Clearwater, Florida; Jay W. of Somerset RD 6 and Ray W. of Somerset. She was a member of the Gray Christian Missionary Alliance Church. Friends are being received in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Donald K. Ansell and the Rev. Wayne Leasure officiating.
