    Robert James LaPorte, 61, Hyasota Hill Road, Conemaugh Township, Somerset County, died
  Feb. 11, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center, Main Campus, Johnstown. Born Oct. 15, 1945, in
  Johnstown, son of the late Dominick and Rose (DiMauro) LaPorte. Survived by brother,
  Donald, Pittsburgh; nephew, Michael, and wife, Kara, and nieces, Dena LaPorte and Lisa
  LaPorte, all of Pittsburgh; great-nephews, Antonio and Jaylin; and great-nieces,
  Franchesca and Tori. Graduated from St. Joseph's Parochial School, Coraopolis, and a 1965
  graduate of Montour High School, Robinson Township, Allegheny County. Also graduated from
  the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy in 1967 as a teacher of cosmetology. Owner/operator of
  LaPorte's Bar, Hyasota, which formerly had been located in Hollsopple. Viewing from 1 to
  9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road,
  Davidsville, where vigil for the deceased will be held Wednesday afternoon. Funeral Mass
  at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville. The Rev. Father Michael
  Lewandowski, OFM Conv., celebrant. Friends and family are invited to the committal
  service at 11 a.m. Friday at Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township, Allegheny County. The
