Born Aug. 13, 1913, in Buffalo, N.Y., son of the late Steve and Mary Lasko. Preceded in death by daughters, Shirley Knecht and Pamela Phillippi; brother, Charlie; step-brother, Peter Gogolesky, and step-sister, Anna Wilco. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Kisner) Lasko; these children: Mrs. Dean (Patricia) Beck and Mrs. Howard (Barbara) Henry, both of Rockwood RD 2; a son-in-law, Brian Knecht, Somerset; brothers, Paul Lasko, New York; Mike Lasko of Detroit, Mich.; sister, Mary Rubinsky of Ohio, and Stanley Gogolesky. Also stepbrother, Benjamin Gogolesky, Somerset; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Brothers- and sisters-in-law: Willis, Lawrence and Junior Kisner; Lola Kisner, Friedens, and Jim and Betty Beggs, Somerset. Retired after 47 years as coal miner. Member of UMWA. Retired from Walters Tire Service and hauled mail for eight years. His death terminated a marriage union of 54 years. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Rev. Gary W.
