Lenhart died in a Pittsburgh hospital on Wednesday, July 30, after an illness of several years due to hardening of arteries and heart trouble. He was a son of the late John and Mary M. Lenhart, and was born in Westmoreland County, Sept. 30, 1873. He was aged 66 years, 10 months and 23 days. Most of Mr. Lenhart's younger days were spent in Confluence and vicinity; his latter days throughout Western Pennsylvania. He was preceded to the grave by his wife, who died about six months ago. Surviving are two brothers, Jacob M. Lenhart, Buffalo, N.Y.; and Lyman S. Lenhart, Confluence; also two sisters, Mrs. Frank J. Reitz, Quaker Bridge, N.Y., and Mrs. Mary Dull, New Centerville, Pa. One sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Cronin, died two years ago. Mr. Lenhart's body was removed from Pittsburgh to the Charles B. Humbert Funeral Parlors, Confluence, where funeral services were held Sunday, Aug. 4, at 9:30 a.m., Rev. James S. Shannon, pastor of the Confluence Lutheran Church, officiating.
