  LESTER, Ona B. (Berkibile) 05/08/06 Daily American
  
   Ona B. (Berkebile) Lester, 79, Windber, went to be with the Lord, May 6, 2006 at home.
  Born Sept. 29, 1926 in Mount Hope, the daughter of Frank L. and Ethel Mae (Myers)
  Berkebile. Preceded in death by her parents and Charles R. Davis III, husband of
  grand-daughter, Tammy (Price) Davis. Survived by her husband of 58 years, Jacob Lester
  Jr., and these children, Rev. Denton R. Lester, married to the former Cathie Dierling of
  Rockwood and L. Elaine, wife of John P. Price of Windber. Also survived by the following
  grandchildren: Candee, wife of Alan Jackson; Amy wife of Marcus Kohan; Kelly, wife of
  Joseph Smiach; Denton Lester Jr. and wife, Nicki; Holly Lester; Tammy Davis and John P.
  Price III; great-grandchildren, Lucas and Hannah Kohan, and Kaylee and Rachel Davis.
  Sister of F. Owen Berkebile and wife, Anna Maria, and F. Dean Berkebile both of Va. Also
  survived by several nieces and nephews. Ona was a former teacher's aid at Forest Hills
  School District. At the family's request, there will be no public visitation. Family and
  friends are invited to attend the funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Scalp Level
  Trinity United Methodist Church, Windber, where Ona was a member. Interment, Mount Hope
  Cemetery. Arrangements by William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber. In lieu of flowers,
  donations may be made to the Regional Hospice of Windber in Ona's memory.
