CONRAD LICHTY

  Conrad Lichty, aged 80, a retired farmer of Somerset Township, died on Sunday, 
March 29, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Matilda Arden, near Somerset.  His 
entire life was spent in the community in which he died.  He was engaged in 
farming until a few years ago when he retired.
  Surviving are these children:  Frank, of Berlin; Mrs. Bertha Miller, of 
Windber; Norman, of Garrett; Mrs. Matilda Arden, of Somerset Township; Allen, 
whose whereabouts is not known; Mrs. Priscilla Stephen of Wesleyan, Pa., and 
Charles, of Listonburg.
  Funeral services were conducted Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the Pine 
Hill Lutheran Church, near Berlin.  Interment in the church cemetery.  The body 
was prepared for burial by Undertakers J. N. Johnson & Son, of Berlin.
