  LONG
  
    Joseph Elroy Long, 89, of Garrett RD 1, died May 26, 1977.  He was
  born March 19, 1888 in Brothersvalley Twp., the son of the late John
  and Anna (Hauger) Long.
    He was preceded death by four brothers and three sisters and is
  survived by two sisters: Mrs. Verda (Long) Brant and Mrs. Edith
  (Long) Meyers, both of Garrett RD 1.
    He was a life-long member of the Beachdale Church of the Brethren.
    Funeral services were held Saturday at Johnson and Son Funeral Home
  with Rev. William Hay officiating.  Interment, Beachdale Cemetery.
