Born April 12, 1945, in Meyersdale, he was the son of Margaret (Folk) Lynn and the late Edmund A. Lynn, Sr. He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Cathy (Edgar) Lynn. Mr. Lynn was a steamfitter and was employed by Local 489, Plumbers & Steamfitters, Cumberland, Md. Surviving are his wife, Mary Alice (Miller) Lynn of Salisbury, one son, Edmund A. "Benjy" Lynn, III, and wife Teresa of West Salisbury; a brother William Lynn and a sister, P. Jane Shumaker and husband Glenn, all of Salisbury, two grandchildren, Edmund A. "Eddie" Lynn, IV; Tessa Nichole Lynn and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of Maple Glen Church of the Brethren, Fort Hill; Meyersdale Lodge 554, F&AM; Hebron Chapter 272, York Rite, and was a graduate of Lincoln Welding School. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
