Born May 14, 1919, in Elk Lick Twp., the daughter of the late William A. and Emma S. (Livengood) Folk. Preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Anthony Lynn Sr., Dec. 6, 1999; one son, Edmund A. "Benj" Lynn Jr., May 9, 2005; four brothers, Lester E. Folk, Floyd E. Folk, Abraham B. Folk and Orie W. Folk and two sisters, Savannah Lesnett and Melda Brant. Survived by one son, William A. Lynn, Salisbury, and former wife, Reta; one daughter, Patricia Jane Shumaker and husband, Glenn, Salisbury; one daughter- in-law, Mary Alice Lynn, Salisbury; five grandchildren, Sandy Filsinger and husband, Keith; Michael Shumaker and wife, Sherry; Lisa Diane Lynn; Will Lynn and wife, Tammy; Edmund A. "Benji" Lynn III and wife, Teresa; seven great- grandchildren, Eric Justin and Heather Nicole Filsinger, Amanda Lynn Shumaker, Alexander Jacob Lynn, Ryan Michael Lynn, Edmund Anthony Lynn IV and Tessa Nicole Lynn and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Maple Glen Church of the Brethren. Charter member of Meyersdale Chapter 548, Order of the Eastern Star. Member of the Fifth Society of Farm Women and Springs Historical Society. She was a seamstress for Salisbury Undergarment Factory. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, tending her blueberry patch and sitting on the porch swing. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md., where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Daniel Whitacre officiating. Meyersdale Chapter 548, O.E.S. will hold a memorial service at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Interment, Maple Glen Cemetery.
