Race Street, Somerset, died June 21, 1977, at Somerset Community Hospital. She was born Sept. 17, 1895, in Salisbury, a daughter of the late John and Margaret Hetrick Fresh. Preceded in death by her husband, Edward J., in 1948; a daughter, Evelyn Grace, six brothers and two sisters. Survived by these children: Earnest of Rockwood RD 1; Mrs. Hazel Nichols of Confluence RD 1; Mrs. Mary Sanner of Nemacolin; Mrs. Bessie Faidley, Miss Pearl and Edward J. Lyons, all of Somerset; John of Somerset RD 7; 31 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Cora Musser of Berlin, Mrs. Florence Lyons of Rockwood, John Fresh of Detroit, Mich., Grace Vanpelt of Cumberland, Md. Member of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Somerset. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Wednesday in Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James E. Vandervort officiating.
