Born Dec. 16, 1918, in Spangler, a daughter of Peter and Alice Winifred (Brown) Malloy. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Alice Elk, Agnes Gill, Margaret Leisinger, Catherine Bouder and Mary Darfler; brothers, Joseph, the Rev. Father Michael and Lawrence Malloy. Survived by sister, Mrs. Madge Carl, Hastings; special niece and nephew, Mrs. Stacey and Deacon Pat Valerio, Somerset. Also numerous other nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Worked as a custodian for the Pittsburgh Board of Education retiring in 1981 with 15 years of service. Also a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. She also was very active with the Somerset Area Agency on Aging. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where vigil for the deceased will be held 2 p.m. Funeral Mass will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset.
