Marker, 71, of Somerset, died Oct. 18, 1993, in the Somerset Hospital. He was born Feb. 18, 1922, in Kingwood, a son of the late Charles and Bessie (Cameron) Marker. He is survived by his wife, Janie (Bumbaugh) Marker of Somerset; one son, Dana Ray "Mick" Marker of Harrisburg, and four daughters: Miss Bonnie and Miss Bessie Jane Marker, both at home; Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Gloss of Markleton and Mrs. Craig (Linda) Simmons of New Derry. Also seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son and two brothers, Daniel and George Marker. His death terminates a marriage union of 28 years. He was a member of the Kingwood Church of God and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Jointers of America. Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and until 11 a.m. Wednesday when the remains will be moved to the Kingwood Church of God to lie in state until 1 p.m., time of service, with his pastor, the Rev. James Montique officiating. Interment, Kingwood I.O.O.F Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, with John A. Brady supervising.
