Born Jan. 5, 1946 in Mt. Lebanon. Son of George William and Florence Blanche (Bendle) Marsh. Preceded in death by parents, and brother George William Marsh II. Survived by wife Susan Mary Gaffron to whom he was married three years. Brother of Mrs. Doris Huckestein and Mrs. Evelyn Fako, both of North Hills. Best friends, Jerry Baumgartner and wife Janice of Somerset, and pets, Gilligan, Snuffy and Lovey. Former member of Calvary United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church. Attended St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church. A 1963 graduate of Radnor High School. Received his bachelor's degree from Ohio State University and masters from Duquesne University. Veteran of Vietnam where he served as captain with the U.S. Army. Past president for the Somerset County Habitat for Humanity. Historian for Laurel Highland Model Railroad Club, and VFW Post 554. Formerly worked for Corning, GNC, Computer Associates of Pittsburgh, and was presently employed with the I.U. 8, of Somerset County. No viewing or visitation. Memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Saint Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church, Somerset, with Rev. Father J. Mark Zimmerman and Rev. Dr. Arthur J. Gotjen officiating.
