  Edna Mae Martz, 89, Meyersdale RD 3, died Dec. 21, 1984, at her
  home.  Born Oct. 11, 1895, in Sand Patch, a daughter of the late Rev.
  Francis S. and Deliah (Shoemaker) Howsare.  Preceded in death by her
  husband, Alvey C.  Survived by these children: Vernon, Pittsburgh;
  Thurman, South Shore, Ky.; Ray of Prospect; Alvey Jr., Columbus, Ga.;
  Alma Bahr, Akron, Ohio; and Miss Betty, Meyersdale RD 3; a
  step-daughter, Aline Pride, Morgantown, W.Va.; 13 grandchildren; 14
  great-grandchildren.  A sister of: John, Anne Stephenson and Mary
  Reiner, all of Akron; and Pearl Baer, Ravenna, Ohio.  Friends are
  being received at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will
  be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday (today) with the Rev. Charles Harper. 
  Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
