  Alice M. Maurer, 83, 225 West Church Street, Somerset, died Jan. 25,
  1987, at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born July 24, 1903, in
  Meyersdale, daughter of the late Edward J. and Annie C. (Mostoller)
  Schrock.  Preceded in death by six sisters: Carrie Griffith, Marian
  Speicher, Olive Knepper, Grace Schrock, Rachael Schrock, Marcella
  McGraw; brothers, Joseph and Edward Schrock.  Survived by husband of
  60 years Dean R. Maurer and following children: Mrs. Charles H.
  (Charlotte) Glessner of Malvern, Pa.; Dean S. of Lighthouse Point,
  Fla.; David E. of Level Green, Pa.; Mrs. Ronald (Patricia) Williams,
  Grand Rapids, Mich.; Alice Ann of Somerset; and Tim W. of Fairhope RD
  1; 10 grandchildren.  Member of Listie Brethren Church.  Retired
  employee of Somerset Area School District.  Friends received from 7-9
  p.m. Tuesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where services will
  be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m., the Rev. Roger Forry
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  In lieu of
  flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Somerset Church of
  the Brethren building fund.
