Maust, 89, of Landis Homes, Lititz, Pa., formerly of Elizabethtown, Pa., died Oct. 14, 1994 at his residence. Born in Springs, he was the son of the late Norman S. and Mayme (Kimmel) Maust. He is survived by his wife, Erma Longenecker Maust; children: John L. Maust, Andalusia, Ala.; James L. Maust, Collegeville, Pa.; Miriam L., wife of Leroy C. Achenback, Elizabethtown; David L. Maust, Chambersburg; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was a brother of John E. Maust, Fort Hill; Claude and Freda Maust, both of Springs. Mr. Maust taught school in Somerset County; Dover, Del.; Shelley's Island in Dauphin County and at Kraybill Mennonite School, Mount Joy. He was a member of Locust Lane Mennonite Church, Harrisburg and had been ordained as a deacon at the Mennonite Church in 1942. Services were held Oct. 19 at Good's Mennonite Church, Elizabethtown, with Chaplain Don Good and Rev. Wayne Lawton officiating. Funeral arrangements made by Frank S.
