    George T. May, 79, 543 Highland Ave., Johnstown, died Jan. 8, 1980,
  at Memorial Hospital.  Born June 4, 1900, in Meyersdale, he was a son
  of James and Elizabeth (Imhoff) May.
    He was preceded in death by parents, five brothers and two
  sisters.  He is survived by widow, former Anna B. Hady; brother
  Robert M., Lake Worth, Fla., and sister Miss Ethel, Meyersdale.
    He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and men's
  Bible Sunday school class, former church deacon.  He was former owner
  of Miller's Dairy Store, Franklin and Somerset Streets, Johnstown;
  retired from McNally Tire & Rubber.
    Friends were received at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc.,
  where services were conducted with the Rev. Mark D. Dewald.  Graveside
  service were held Friday at Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
