McIntyre, 71, of Cannell Drive, Somerset, died Dec. 5, in Somerset Community Hospital. He was born in Six Mile Run, July 24, 1901, a son of the late James S. and Ida Burns McIntyre. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Wilson and Charles. He is survived by his wife, Lola Blubaugh McIntyre and a brother, Hugh, of Santa Rosa, Calif. He was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church. He formerly operated a tavern in Rockwood and was a steward of Somerset VFW Post home. Friends are being received in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, where rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral mass Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Samuel Tomaselli officiating.
