    Alice M. (Gormley) McManus, 76, of Meyersdale, died Jan. 23, 1993,
  at Cumberland (Md.) Memorial Hospital.  Born Nov. 12, 1916, in
  Pompton Lakes, N.J.  Survived by her husband, Frank; a son, Philip,
  Paterson, N.J.; three daughters: Phyllis Oberti of Wanaque, N.J.,
  Patricia Faner of Meyersdale, and Barbara Babcock of Blooming Grove,
  N.Y., and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Sister
  of Ruth Arnest of Florida.  Funeral services were held at the
  Richards Funeral Home in Riverdale, N.J.
