  MEYERS
  
  John Irvin Meyers, 85, of Meyersdale, died Jan. 1, 1984, at his
  home.  Born Jan. 10, 1898, Summit Township, a son of the late William
  P. and Sarah (Maust) Meyers.  Also preceded in death by his first
  wife, Elizabeth (Shober) Meyers.  Survived by his second wife, Irene
  S. Siegner.  Also survived by a daughter, Nancy Beamer, Meyersdale;
  step-daughter, Jean Pyle, Meyersdale RD 3; two granddaughters; a
  step-granddaughter; and two step-great-grandchildren. A brother of
  Orpha M. Meyers, Meyersdale.  Charter member Meyersdale Grace
  Brethren Church.  Owned and operated the John I. Meyers Feed Store in
  Meyersdale, retiring in 1974.  Member of Masonic Lodge 554 I&AM,
  Hebron Royal Arch Chapter No. 272, Meyersdale Rotary Club.  Former
  member Meyersdale School Board, Meyersdale Community Hospital board,
  and a former director of the Second National Bank.  Friends will be
  received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday
  with the Rev. Ray Davis.  Interment, Union Cemetery.  In lieu of
  flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
