Born Feb. 27, 1910, in Somerset. Son of the late James C. and Minnie Ellen (Brown) Michaels. Also preceded in death by wife, the former Nellie Elizabeth Keefer, who died March 11, 1981; brother, Benjamin Michaels, and sisters, Freda Keeffer and Mary Jane King. Survived by son, Gene A. Glessner, married to the former Miriam Lenhart, of Pleasant Hills; grandchildren: Harry D. Glessner of Canonsburg and Mrs. John P. (Lynda) Gumm of Marlton, N.J.; 2 great-grandchildren: Christopher and Brendan Gumm. Retired employee of Somerset North and South Turnpike Exxon stations. Member of Lodge 554, F&AM, Meyersdale. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Roger L. Forry officiating. Interment, Mt.
