Born July 29, 1894, in Johnstown, son of Harry J. and Rose (Foust) Miller. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, the former Bessie Reed; daughter, Ethel Mae; two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his second wife, the former Dorothy Walker, and his children: Mrs. Michael (Violet) Pahulick, Elyria, Ohio; Wave, married to Pauline DeArmitt, Stoystown RD 3; Foster Wayne, married to Audry J. Mowry of Bedford; stepdaughters: Mrs. Thomas (Bonnie) Croner, Berlin RD 1; and Denise Leydig, Friedens; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. Mary Lamp, Vermillion, Ohio; and Jay of Lorraine, Ohio. He was a retired Stoneycreek Township Justice of the Peace, a former supervisor and a member of Unity United Church of Christ. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Ben Skelton. Interment, Glade Cemetery.
