Miller, died suddenly at his home, 411 Grant Street, about 11 a.m., Monday. His death was due to a heart attack. He had been doing some garden work and was on his way into the house when he collapsed on the steps of the front porch. He was born June 13, 1876, at Johnsburg, Northampton Township, the son of John H. and Mary (Trimpey) Miller. He is survived by his wife, Edna Kyle Miller, and by two children, Kyle Miller of Vandergrift and Pittsburgh, and Mary Ellen, wife of Charles Hunt, Greensburg, and by five grandchildren. Also surviving are the following brothers: Dr. Irvin Miller of Berlin; William and K. G. Miller, all of Glencoe, and Walter G. Miller of Akron, O., and by a sister, Mrs. Emma Landsmann, Detroit, Mich. Mr. and Mrs. Miller lived in Meyersdale in their early married life, then settled in Pittsburgh, where Mr. Miller was in business first with the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company, and then with the Globe Varnish Company of Pittsburgh, of which he was vice president at the time of his death. About 19 years ago, they returned to Meyersdale to make their home here. Mr. Miller took an active interest in community affairs. During World War II, he served as commander of civilian defense in Meyersdale. He was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, and belonged to the Masonic Lodge and the Rotary Club. Private funeral services were conducted at the Miller home at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. H. K. Hilner officiating. Interment in Union Cemetery was under the direction of H. R.
