Miller, died of cancer at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Ball, in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Friday, Jan. 2, at the age of 77 years, 8 months and 12 days. Having been born in Nurnberg, Germany, April 21, 1853, she came to this country in her early years and after her marriage to Henry W. Miller of Johnsburg, Somerset County, Pa., she and her husband resided on a farm in Northampton Township near Johnsburg until the death of Mr. Miller about 16 years ago, after which she made her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Ball in Cincinnati. Funeral services were conducted at the funeral home of Mack Johnson in Cincinnati, by her pastor, Rev. Littman of the Lutheran Church, of which she was a faithful member all her life. As a wife and mother, neighbor and friend, she was all that one could wish and very highly respected by all who knew her. Her body was placed in a crypt in the funeral home of Mack Johnson in Cincinnati, to remain till late spring or early summer, when it will be moved to its final resting place in the cemetery at Johnsburg, Pa. She is survived by the following children: Henry and George Miller, of Findlay, Ohio; Mrs. Frank Protzman and John Miller, of Pittsburgh; Mrs. William Ball and Miss Rose Miller, of Cincinnati; Miss Anna Miller, of Windber, and Martin Miller, of Somerset; also by 16 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
