Miller, 73, of Stoystown RD 3, died Aug. 4, 1996, at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Oct. 9, 1922, in Stonycreek Township. Son of Foster and Bessie (Reed) Miller. Preceded in death by parents and infant sister. Survived by wife of 54 years, the former Pauline DeArmitt and these children: Mrs. Richard (Sandra) Geisler, Lorain, Ohio; Terry, married to the former Donna Jean Mostoller, and Neil R., both of Stoystown RD 3; 7 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Brother of Violet Pahulick, Elyria, Ohio, and Wayne Miller, Bedford. World War II Army veteran. Former employee of Ford Motor Co., Lorain, Ohio. Retired from Glessner Mines. Member of Mostoller United Methodist Church and Robert P. Hite Post 257, American Legion, Stoystown. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Viewing from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mostoller United Methodist Church, Revs. David Jack and Samuel Weible. Interment, church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Mostoller United Methodist Church, RD 3, Stoystown, Pa. 15563. American Legion service at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Graveside military rites by Menoher VFW Post 155.
