  Mrs. Gladys M. Mitchell, 73, 355 Sugar St., Hooversville, died Aug.
  23, 1980, at home.  Born Jan. 7, 1907, in Nanty Glo, daughter of
  Richard A. and Clara (Shumaker) Embleton.  Preceded in death by
  parents; husband, William; son, William Jr., killed in action in
  Korea; nine brothers and one sister.  Survived by sons, Robert E.,
  married to Delores Christner, Hooversville; Leo E., married to Buelah
  Stull, Leechburg, Pa.; Lawrence A., married to Wanda Lee Shaffer,
  Johnstown RD 4; Ronald E., married to Liane Brown, Falls Church, Va.;
  nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs.
  Mazie Hepler, Vandergrift, Pa.; Mrs. Lillian Ernst, Butler; Duane
  McClain, Kittanning.  Family received friends Sunday and will receive
  friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown,
  where services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. H. Donald
  Rough.  Interment, P.O.S. of A. Cemetery, Hooversville.
