Moore, 57, of Berlin, died at 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 5, immediately following a severe heart attack. She was a daughter of Andrew and Mary Smith Deeter and was born October 29, 1891. Her husband, Harry Moore, survives along with a son, Paul E. Moore, at home. Also surviving are two brothers, Howard Deeter of Pontiac, Mich.; and Harry Deeter of Berlin, and six sisters: Mrs. Freeman Tipton, Mrs. J. Hargnet Garman, Mrs. Jacob Lowry, Mrs. William Baltzer, all of Berlin; Mrs. Paul Hurd and Mrs. Stewart Heffley, both of Boswell. Preceding her in death was a brother, Robert Deeter, who died two years ago. The deceased was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, the ladies auxiliary to the Volunteer Fire Department, the Rebekah Lodge and V.F.W. auxiliary. Friends are being received at the Moore home where services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Robert S. Nagle officiating. Burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery will be under direction of Johnson & Son, Berlin. Meyersdale Republican, May 6, 1948
