Moorhead, 68, of Somerset RD 2, formerly of Everson, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 1988, in the Oakland V.A. Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Nov. 17, 1919, in Everson, a son of the late Alexander T. and Julia (Cook) Moorhead. Veteran of World War II and was a retired steward at the Somerset American Legion. Member of the St. Gregory's R.C. Church, Macdonaldton, also member of Somerset American Legion. Surviving is one brother, Walter Moorhead of Connellsville. Preceded in death by wife, Bernice (Caldaroni) Moorhead, in 1983 and two sisters, Mary Sheeley in 1954 and Evelyn Houber 1987. Friends are being received at the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home, Scottdale, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (Thursday) today. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph R.C. Church, Everson, on Friday at 9 a.m. Burial will be in the Somerset County Memorial Park with military rites at graveside. Daily American, November 3, 1988 [M2284]
