Mostoller, 62, of Friedens, died Aug. 17, 1974 in residence. Born March 22, 1912 in Quemahoning Township, son of the late Reno Mostoller and Martha (Eschrich) Mostoller of Stoystown RD 2. Also survived by widow, the former Marie Miller and children: John W., married to the former Emma Jean (Kline) Barron of Friedens; Charles H., married to the former Shirley Pyle of Spring Borough; Mrs. Ray Lynn (Esther) Weigle of Friedens RD 1; six grandchildren. He was a brother of Dwight E. of Hershey; Donald of Stoystown RD 2; Elmer of Friedens RD 2; Kenneth of Fredonia; Mrs. Hillis (Catherine) Snyder of Friedens RD 2; Mrs. Herbert (Miriam) Horner of Greencastle; Mrs. Vernon (Evelyn) Kimble of Pulaski; Clyde of Somerset; and Mrs. Howard (Mary Lou) Fullerton of Bridgeton, N..J. He was a retired farmer and motor carrier of the Somerset Daily American; member of Friedens Lutheran Church; Somerset Lodge IOOF; Stoystown Lions Club; Junior OUAM; county committeeman for ASCS; Somerset Grange; honorary member of Future Farmers of America; former school director of Somerset Area Schools; director of Somerset Area Vo-Tech School and director of Farm Bureau. Family received friends Sunday evening and will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday (today) and until noon Tuesday in the Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. The remains will be removed to the Friedens Lutheran Church to lie in state from 12:30 p.m. Tuesday until 1:30 p.m. time of services with the Rev. James R. Ling officiating.
