Doris A. Rosa Van Ness, 79

Doris A. Rosa Van Ness, 79, of Van Buren, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, in St. 
Anthony Hospital in Michigan City. 
Born in Kokomo to William and Dora (Eads) Mossholder on Dec. 11, 1927, Mrs. Van 
Ness married twice.  She married her first husband, Loren L. Van Ness on April 
10 1943. He died on Oct. 1, 1990.  She then married William Rosa on June 26, 
1995; he also preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 2006.  
She worked at the RCA in Marion and Appliance Mgf. in Van Buren.  She was a 
member of the Van Buren American Legion Auxiliary Post 368, the Eagle's Lodge in 
Marion, the Moose Lodge in Marion and the Am vets Post in Marion.  
Surviving relatives include four sons, Loren L. (Janice) Van Ness of Huntington, 
Mitchell (Barbara) Van Ness of Warren, Randy Van Ness of Michigan City and Kyle 
(Sheila) Van Ness of Van Buren; two daughters, Janet (Elmer) Hicks of Marion and 
Kalene (Bobby) Brummett of Marion; one brother, Jack (Iona) Mossholder of Ariz.; 
19 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home 
in Van Buren with Pastor Anna Kroencke officiating.  Calling hours will be from 
4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Burial is at the Van Buren Cemetery. 
Preferred memorials are to the "Life Stream" in Yorktown..
