Born January 8, 1930, in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, the daughter of the late Lester and Mae (Shroyer) Conn. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Jacqueline Conn; and brothers, Warren "Chub", Alvin, Thomas and Jacob Conn. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Alaniz, Somerset; Rosemary Dryburg and husband, Barry, Somerset; and Mary Jane Funston and husband, Roderick, Buffalo Mills; grandchildren, Amber Alaniz and Brett Dryburg, both of Somerset; brother, Bernon "Bun" Conn and wife, Linda, Somerset; sisters, Laura Conn, Somerset; Melda Wilson and husband, Paul, Confluence; Sandra "Kay" Sabin, Vermilion, Ohio; Dana Traup and husband, Dennis, Somerset; and sisters-in-law, Loretta, Barbara and Nancy Conn. She was a retired employee of Gilmour Manufacturing, Somerset and was currently employed at the Somerset Wal-Mart as a greeter, which she loved very much. She also loved bingo, word search puzzles and spending time with her family. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Somerset. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating. Interment at Somerset County Memorial Park.
