"Farmer" Paxton, 53, of Jenner Township (Coal Junction) died July 8, 2004, at the Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born June 18, 1951, in Somerset. Son of the late Homer Paxton and Alice Joyce (Sager) Paxton of Listie. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, the former Theresa L. Saylor, children Heather Ann Paxton, and Michael Allen Paxton, both of Troy, Ala., and Matthew, Mark, Anthony, Danielle, Jennifer and Kristy Paxton, all of Jenner Township. Grandchildren, Jasmine and Caitlyn, sisters, Barbara married to Max Humbert of Confluence and Michele married to Ed Clark, Vine Grove, Ky., and father-in-law, James Saylor, Ferrellton. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A 1969 graduate of Somerset High School. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Heavy equipment mechanic for Godin Brothers Inc. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Ronzil Jarvis officiating.
