  Mark J. Petro, 32, of Berlin, died Aug. 5, 2002, at University of
  Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh.  Born Dec. 23, 1969, in
  Meyersdale, he is the son of Joseph and Betty Lou (Brady) Petro.
  Preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Joseph Brady, and paternal
  grandparents Wasco and Elsie Petro.  Surviving in addition to his
  parents are brothers Cory, married to the former Kimberly Barnett,
  Boswell, and Samuel, at home; maternal grandmother, Gladys Brady,
  Shanksville; special friend Helen Koval, Johnstown; Godchild Elaine
  Petro, Poolesville, Md.; and numerous aunts and uncles.  Graduate of
  Berlin Brothersvalley High School, class of 1988.  Member of St.
  Mary's Orthodox Church, Central City, and was employed at the
  Somerset Workshop.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Wednesday with parastas services at 8 p.m. at the Deaner Funeral
  Home, Berlin.  Funeral service beginning at 8 a.m. Thursday at the
  funeral home, with continuation of services at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's
  Orthodox Church in Central City.  Rev. John Govrusik, officiating.
  Interment, Pine Hill Orthodox Cemetery, Berlin.  Memorial
  contributions may be sent to St. Mary's Orthodox Church, Sunshine
  Ave., Central City, Pa., 15926.
