Born May M, 1899 in Johnstown, daughter of Samuel S. and Annie (Carney) Varner. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Survived by a daughter, Mrs. James E. (Mae Jean) Rosser, Coatsville; two grandchildren, James F. Rosser and Ann E. Duff; a sister Mrs. Bertha Casey, Greensburg; and a nephew Samuel Casey of Pittsburgh. Member of Grace United Methodist Church, Somerset Garden Club, Roof Garden Music Club, and active in other civic affairs. She was a Red Cross volunteer during World War I and H. Attended Albright College. Friends will be received Tuesday 7-9 p.m. at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Theodore Cole officiating.
