  MRS. WALTER PYLE
  
     Gladys Enfield Pyle, 72, of Rockwood, died Oct. 12, 1974 in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born May 16, 1902 in Brothersvalley
  Township, she was a daughter of William and Hulda (Enfield) Brant. 
  She was preceded in death by a son, Richard, in 1943; and by four
  sisters and a brother.
     Surviving are her husband, Walter of Rockwood; a son, Homer of
  Pittsburgh; and a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Hoover, Somerset; also four
  grandchildren and two brothers:  Harold Brant, Rockwood RD 3; and
  William,  Somerset
     Mrs. Pyle was a member of Christ United Methodist Church,
  Rockwood; the American Legion Auxiliary and the Women's Benefit
  Association Lodge. 
    Funeral service was conducted Tuesday afternoon in William J. Wood
  Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Rev. Dewayne Johnson officiating. 
  Interment in Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
