RACE January 28, 1921-September 29, 2003 Bernard E. Race, 82, of Meyersdale, formerly of Baltimore, Md., died Monday, September 29, 2003, at Select Specialty Hospital in Johnstown. Born January 28, 1921, in Rockwood. He was a son of the late Louis and Jennie (Foy) Race. He was also preceded in death by his wife, the former Yolanda Mary Marchanti; three brothers: Wilbur, Howard and Harry Race; and a sister, Edna Perry. He is survived by two daughters: Barbara, wife of Ronald Sinn, Dundalk, Md.; and Kathleen, wife of James Cundiff, Essex, Md.; also three granddaughters: Sarah, Elizabeth and Hannah. He was a brother of Charles Race, Meyersdale; Doris Hayman, Rockwood. Friends were received Tuesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Additional visitation was Wednesday at the Bruzdzinski Funeral Home in Essex, where service will be conducted (today) Thursday. Interment, Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, Md.
