  REIBER
  
  Walter R. Reiber, 82, Meyersdale, died Aug. 15, 1988, at Sacred Heart
  Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born Dec. 27, 1905 in Niverton, a son of the late
  Herman and Elizabeth (Rushton) Reiber.  Survived by wife, the former Margaret
  Holzshu; a son, John R., St. Petersburg, Fla.; two grandchildren, Mrs. Susan
  F. Cohn, Edmonds, Wash., and Bradley J. Reiber, Virginia Beach, Va.  A
  brother of: Elizabeth Garlitz, Greensburg; Martha Brown, Salisbury; and
  Kathryn Miller, Salem, Ohio.  A member of Zion Lutheran Chureh where he
  served as a former deacon, council member and choir member.  Retired in 1968
  as caretaker for the Union Cemetery Association.  Friends will be recieved
  7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale.  Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Zion
  Lutheran Church, with Pastor Pamela Armstrong officiating.  Interment, Union
  Cemetery.
